INSPECTION OF WATERLSIDES AND FLUMES
A standard inspection visit will consist of:
• Checking the slide for leakages.
• Checking the bolt connections and fixings.
• Full internal surface examination.
• Visual inspection of external surface where accessible or visible.
• Visual inspection of steelwork where accessible or visible.
• Inspection of all areas associated with the waterslide.
• Comprehensive report of inspection.
• Quotation for recommended rectifying works.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
Basic rectifying works will consist of (but not limited to):
• Risk and method statement including COSH.
• The repairing of gel-coat surface chips, cracks or voids using polyester gel-coat and fibreglass as required.
• Descaling and cleaning of ride surfaces.
• Replacement of ride section joints/seals with high specification
adhesive sealant or polyester gel-coat and fibreglass as required.
• Tightening or replacing of fixings as required.
• Functional testing of all slides.
• Comprehensive report of works carried out.
• Post-works safety inspection and Certificate.
